Christmas of 2004 turned out to be one of special joyful celebrations!
Noche Buena 2004, the best Christmas ever!
10 years ago we became victims to a scam which left us penniless on a Christmas day. We had practically nothing to put on our table to celebrate a very important occasion like this. However, about 3 days before Christmas eve, a neighbor invited us to join the party that our Village Association has arranged for the residents. A life-changing event happened that night when most raffle prizes were won by my daughter Ashbina and me. Among them was the grand prize which was a basketful of grocery items with a bottle of wine and some chocolates. In just a split of a second all my worries were gone and I saw that our dining table would become full. There was something to eat on Christmas eve.I felt God was just beside me telling me everything would be fine. I was touched! There was joy! Miracles indeed do happen because our Great Father would like us to remember He cares and loves us. This Christmas and all Christmases that will come my family and I will always remember His goodness! We will praise and thank Him! Perhaps this is also the reason why we share something to the poor on Christmas eve lest we forget!
“He provides food for those who fear him; He remembers his covenant forever.”
