Praying the Rosary Made Simple & Effective

Praying the Rosary Made Simple Yet Effective

My grandson Zion, was only 3 years old when he learned to recite the rosary. He likes it! In fact he can last the whole period.

The main reason why he is able to last is because he sees clearly in his mind the life events of our Lord Jesus Christ. On Tuesdays and Fridays, for example, he remembers by the first bead, the Agony in the Garden of Gethsemane when the Lord was extremely sorrowful.

The second decade recalls of the Scourging At The Pillar when the Lord suffered terribly from the hands of the Roman soldiers who whipped Him so hard.

The third tells about the Crowning of Thorns which was so sarcastic and brutal. O what an insult that my grandson could not readily get his mind off.

The fourth reminds of the Carrying of the Cross when the Lord looked so tired and helpless and on his shoulders the heavy load of a big block of wood. Someone had to help him.

The fifth bead ends the last mystery with the Crucifixion when the Lord was dying, thirsty and full of pain. He suffered so much that my grandson can perhaps feel how difficult it was to die that others may live.

Indeed by saying the rosary my grandson reviews the Bible in a summary. How great is a prayer like this. No wonder he likes it.
